Some of my earliest memories are of the illustrations and stories from books my mother read to me as a child. I remember vividly the pictures by Maurice Sendak, Richard Scarry, Shel Silverstein, Ezra Jack Keats, Garth Williams and the worlds they created with their drawings. The night Max's room grew into a forest in Where the Wild Things Are has become a permanent fixture in my imagination.

It wasn't long before I was entertaining myself by creating my own worlds. I would spend hours at the kitchen table drawing animals, aliens, robots, evil computers, imaginary cities and faraway solar systems.

I never quite outgrew the fun of drawing and making stuff up. In more recent years, I have been fortunate enough to work on many exciting projects with clients such as Scholastic Books, Accord Publishing, Child Heroes Publishing, Hooked on Phonics and singer-songwriter, Kenny Loggins.

When I am not drawing, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling and living in beautiful Northern California with my lovely and talented wife, Kelly, our wonder dog, Vito, and Carter, the nicest cat you'll ever meet.

If you think my work would be a match for your project, please don't hesitate to contact me! Thank you for visiting!
